Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Jagmohan Dalmiya (75) passed away here after a cardiac arrest on Sunday at 9pm. He was 75. He suffered a massive gastro-intestinal bleeding and succumbed at 8.45 pm yesterday, attending doctor Anil Mishra said.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee rushed to the hospital to pay her last respects. “He was a giant amongst sports administrators, a true lover of Bengal,” said Banerjee, announcing he will be accorded state honors.
